Sectoral Mini-MBA — is a series of practice-oriented programs designed specifically for those who already have their own business or knows exactly in which industry he or she wants to open it, as well as for managers who plan to develop their managerial career in a specific sphere.

Thus, graduates of Sectoral Mini-MBA programs have all the competencies of a modern senior managers-generalists needed to manage any company or business unit, as well as specialized knowledge and skills for effective management in a particular industry.

Sectoral courses are held by leading consultants on business development in specific spheres and by industry experts with rich professional experience in the successful management of Russian and international companies.

The purpose of the training is an in-depth study of the organization specifics of all business processes and best management practices in the chosen industry. Students are encouraged to transfer practical experience of effective management of international and Russian companies to their own business and get advice from professionals and experts about business launching and development of their business projects.

At the end of the training graduates must defend their graduation projects (a business plan for starting a new business with detailed study of marketing, strategic and other essential components or a proposal to improve the existing business). The projects are created under the guidance and with the assistance of experienced professional mentors.

  • video conferences and online workshops with leading practitioners who you can ask all the questions online;

The learning process

Training on any of the Sectoral Mini-MBA programs is distance what makes obtaining business education available at any convenient time regardless of location. Only computer and internet access are needed for the training.

Students of any Sectoral Mini-MBA program have access to distance learning system and educational multimedia complex for installation on PC.

Educational multimedia complex allows you to watch video lectures, study text and graphics tutorials, study business cases, participate in role-plays, take tests designed for self-control. In order to get access to the distance learning system you will need Internet connection.

Upon authorization in the Distance Learning System, you will:

  • get full access to all the training materials;
  • communicate on professional topics with teachers, tutors and fellow students;
  • participate in group discussions of business cases, communicate with leading experts (business practicians) via video conferences and webinars.

During the training you can choose the most convenient time to come to the Moscow campus of Moscow Business School to undergo an onsite session during which you will be able to participate in lectures, seminars and trainings of leading industry experts. During the session you will communicate with representatives of your profession. All classes are provided with handouts.

Admission requirements:

  • University degree or secondary vocational education;
  • 1+ years of employment career.

Diplomas

Mini-MBA Graduates receive a diploma of vocational retraining, certifying the right to act professionally in management field.
