Strategic management

Strategic management is required for both large and small businesses. For qualified and effective implementation of this function deep and comprehensive knowledge in economics, management and entrepreneurship is required.

Students study:

  • history, philosophy, logic, law, sociology, psychology, foreign language, business communication, economics;
  • mathematics, statistics, information technology, management systems research, operations research, systems analysis, methods of decision-making.

Specific attention is paid to: the theory of management, project management, innovation management, accounting and analysis, financial management, human resources management, business process modeling, investment analysis, etc.

Specialization disciplines include:

  • strategic management, business process modeling, logistics, business communications, basics of advertising, quality management;
  • basics of business, production organization and management, analysis of financial and economic activities, taxes and taxation, business planning.

Elective courses of study: modern strategic analysis, strategic marketing, human resource management strategy, change management, corporate restructuring, management of information technology resources, crisis management.

Upon completion of the program graduates will be able to:

  • develop and implement strategic plans, programs and projects in the company;
  • ensure the sustainable development of the enterprise in VUCA world;
  • provide strategic analysis and search for new market opportunities, develop and present business plans of new projects;
  • organize small businesses «from scratch» and carry out the development of existing business structures;
  • organize effective communication with all interested parties of business.

Upon completion of the training, the graduates can successfully work in new and existing business organizations, medium and small companies in various spheres: in Strategic Development and Planning, in consulting, financial and analytical companies in the departments of project analysis and business opportunities’ research as:

Admission requirements:
Certificate of Secondary Education (11 classes) or a diploma of secondary vocational education (college or training school).

Diplomas:
Upon graduation and the defense of the final project students receive:

  1. Russian state-recognized Bachelor’s Degree Diploma;
  2. Internationally recognized Bachelor of Business Administration Diploma and a pan-European Diploma Supplement in English. The documents do not require additional translation or certification for production to foreign organizations.
