Information systems (by industry)

Nowadays IT society makes knowledge the main asset and one of the most powerful factors of economic growth. IT industry is the most promising in the economic sphere, what means that IT education has strategic importance.

Information systems course includes a vast field of knowledge and different subjects such as: software engineering, artificial intelligence, scientific research automation, web-technologies, computing mathematic and computer system architecture.

There is a strong demand for IT professionals both in factories and plants using new production technologies and in various private companies who deal with scientific research products.

Students learn:

  • history, fundamentals of philosophy, foreign language;
  • elements of advanced maths, elements of mathematical logic, the theory of probability, mathematical statistics, legal groundwork of professional activities;
  • architectural framework, computer structure and functioning, operating systems, computer networks;
  • metrology, standardizing, certification and technical regulation, structure and functioning of information system, base construction of algorithms and programming, basic structure of databases, technical facilities of informatization;
  • information system service, methods and techniques of data systems engineering, information technologies and development platforms of information systems, project management;
  • computer networks and telecommunication systems with the use of Cisco teaching materials and equipment;
  • software engineering, databases, programming languages, including C / C + +, C #, Java, Assembler, Pascal and others.

Much attention is paid to the following issues: constructing and operating of information systems, computerizing of administrative management, methods and tools of information systems and business applications development, operating modification procedures, optimization and developing of information systems, programs, program components, software languages and programming systems of business applications, standards and methods of management arrangements, accountancy, corporate reporting, standards and methods of information interaction.

The program graduates are prepared for the following professional activities:

  • maintenance organization and information systems modification;
  • participation in development of information systems;
  • management of the joint administration, databases and servers administration.

Upon completion of the training graduates successfully work:

  • in various structures and different industry companies that are creating and operating information systems, automating tasks in context of organizational management of commercial companies and budget institutions.

Duration of study:

  • From 1 year and 10 months to 3 years and 10 months — Basic training

Admission requirements:

  • Higher school certificate
  • Certificate of secondary (complete) general education
  • Diploma of primary vocational education
  • Admission to the College is carried out without entrance examinations


After completing the «Information systems (by industry)» program the graduates receive the state-recognized diploma of vocational secondary education.
